A 19-year-old Boynton Beach man is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge in the stabbing of a woman in her apartment Tuesday night, city police said. The accused, Benito Felipe Crisanto, reportedly left the apartment with about $3,000 in cash that the victim and her boyfriend kept in their bedroom at Gateway Boulevard and Congress Avenue, a police stated. It wasn’t clear from the report, however, whether robbery was the only motive behind the attack. “I have to make a sacrifice,” the victim quoted Crisanto as saying while he was stabbing her, according to the report.Besides attempted first-degree murder, he faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon, police said. The victim was admitted to the Delray Medical Center, said police, who described her condition as stable.Police say they took Crisanto — known as “Phil” — into custody at a restaurant near the apartment complex on Congress Avenue. When officers asked Tuesday night who had stabbed her, she replied “Phil,” according to the police report. The boyfriend, told officers he and Crisanto had been friends for about two years. He said the victim told him Crisanto, who lived near the apartments and the restaurant, had texted her to say he was coming to say goodbye before he moved to New York, according to the report. The victim’s boyfriend said he was in the living room wearing headphones and playing on his computer when he heard her scream from the bedroom — something like, “Take the money,” the report said. He turned and saw Crisanto with a gun in his hand about two feet away. The boyfriend told police he grabbed the gun and Crisanto fell to the ground while he tried to wrestle the weapon back, according to the report. The boyfriend was able to disarm Crisanto and ran outside, not knowing where his girlfriend was, police said. The woman told police she tried to run out after her boyfriend, but Crisanto grabbed her by the waist, pulled her back and started stabbing her, according to the report. The boyfriend told detectives he had $2,000 to $3,000 hidden in a Prilosec medication box in the top nightstand drawer, according to the report. The money was never found, but there was a blood trail leading from the bedroom entrance to the drawer, police said. There was also a large amount of blood found on and in the drawer and on the medication box, according to police. The report did not specify whose blood it was. After she was stabbed multiple times, the victim told police she grabbed Crisanto and told him he could take the money from the night stand. He walked behind her with a knife as she went to the drawer and handed the money to him, according to the arrest report.
Gas prices in Florida have held relatively steady for the past two weeks but now face upward pressure. The national average price per gallon of regular unleaded is $2.25 – 1-cent less than a week ago, 3 cents more than this time last year, according to AAA.Florida gas prices averaged $2.13 on Sunday – a half cent less than last week; 3 cents less than last year. The most expensive gas price averages in Florida are in West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($2.24), Pensacola ($2.23), and Miami ($2.22)The least expensive price averages are in Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater ($2.01), Orlando ($2.04), Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice ($2.07)“Gas prices could inch a little higher this week,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Refineries are running on all cylinders, cutting into excess crude stocks. That helped push oil prices higher last week, which puts increased prices at the pump. The increase on the retail-side may only amount to as much as 5 cents by the end of the week. While this could be the start of a gradual rise in gas prices, drivers are likely to continue saving at the pump compared to what they paid earlier this year.”Oil Prices Reach 11-Day HighsAt the close of Friday’s formal trading session on the NYMEX, oil was up 46 cents per barrel to settle at $46.54. The market has been trending upward slightly after EIA’s weekly report showed that last week, crude oil inventories dropped below 500 million barrels for the first time since late January. Moreover, total inventories of crude are just 4.4 million barrels more than last year, showing that the surplus is draining – albeit rather slowly.OPEC action anticipatedThe market will now turn attention toward OPEC to determine if it will maintain compliance with its agreement to limit oil production through March 2018. OPEC could curtail rising crude production levels from member countries that are exempt from the agreement. In the meantime, drivers are still poised to reap the benefits of the crude glut and continued strong gasoline output rates from refineries.

Restructured GVC sidelines Oddschecker affiliate services July 8, 2020 MansionBet adds Bristol City to sponsorship portfolio August 20, 2020 Share Related Articles Share As we approach the business end of the football season, it’s still all to play for in the always exhilarating Sky Bet English Football League. In the second tier, the promise of Premier League football is still in reach for a host of teams, with Millwall, Derby and a handful of others all desperately vying for a spot in the playoffs. Oddschecker detailed to SBC some key data on how punters are predicting the end of the season will play out.Fulham – 7% of betsFulham are among the most popular picks when it comes to escaping the Sky Bet Championship, with 7% of all bets on promotion have been placed on the West London side. They’re 6/5 to go up this year.Aston Villa – 5% of betsAnother team looking for a return to the big time is Steve Bruce’s Villa, who are being steadily backed with 5% of all bets. Bruce’s side previously had the top two in sight, however after a patchy run of form it now appears if they’re to return to the promised land, they’ll have to do it through the turbulent route of the play-offs. Derby – 2% of betsRegularly on the brink of promotion, Derby look to have safely booked a play-off place, however the Rams are 6/1 for promotion.Middlesbrough – 2% of bets Boro are being marginally backed for a return to the big time, with Tony Pulis’ side 6/1 for a return to the Premier League. They’ve attracted 2% of all bets on promotion. One thing’s for sure, if Boro are to gain promotion, they’ll be reliant on the mesmerising wing play of Adama Traore. Bristol City – 2% of betsThings have slowly gone downhill for Bristol City since their magical League Cup run, the 17/1 candidates remain an outside shot for promotion, yet have attracted 2% of all bets on them bringing their goal scoring GIFS to the Premier League. Sheffield Utd – 2% of betsChurning out a draw at home to Cardiff was not the ideal scenario for Chris Wilder’s men, but the Blades are 10/3 for a top six finish. They’re 18/1 to be promoted this season.Millwall – 61% of betsDefinitely the most interesting take-away from the data, Millwall are receiving a tremendous amount of attention when it comes to the race for the Premier League. They’ve received almost two-thirds of all bets at 61% on going up, despite being 30/1 to do so.Preston – 5% of betsDespite losing 1-0 to Derby at the weekend, Preston North End have received 5% of all bets on promotion to the Prem. They’re 40/1 to go up, but 7/1 for a more reasonable looking top six finish.Brentford – 1% of betsCompleting the race for promotion are unlikely candidates Brentford at 66/1, subsequently accumulating just 1% of all bets. The Bees can be considered the least fancied Championship side in contention to go up.Commenting on the race for promotion, Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Millwall are clearly the punters choice at the back-end of this Championship campaign.“Given that Neil Harris’ team won promotion last term via the play-offs, those looking for value may have noted this as momentum carries that London team towards the richest prize in football.”For others, such as Sunderland, Birmingham and Barnsley – the pitfalls of League One are looking more ominous as the weekends drag on. Chris Coleman’s Sunderland are being backed for successive relegations, with 33% of Championship relegation bets being placed on the Black Cats. Despite improving in form since changing their manager, fellow sleeping giants Birmingham City are also fancied by punters to get relegated with 17% of bets. The race at the top of Sky Bet League one is also attracting the interest of punters, with second favourites, Blackburn getting the most attention when it comes to the league winner market, attracting 65% of all bets.Wigan account for almost a third of all bets at 29%, despite being given the favourites tag by bookies at 4/6. Underdogs Shrewsbury have attracted a minimal amount of betting attention, attracting around 5% of all bets.Elek stated: “Despite Wigan dropping points and both of their rivals claiming victories, punters still clearly feel that Paul Cook’s side have enough to get over the line ahead of the friendless Shrews.”The football league’s bottom tier is also providing a fiercely contested race for promotion, as both Luton and Accrington are already nailed on for Sky Bet League Two promotion, there are a number of other contenders being backed to make it out of the league. In particular, Coventry have attracted a plethora of punting attention, being backed by 58% of punters over the last week.Elsewhere, Wycombe are in the fold according to punters, with bettors not shying away from their ¼ price for promotion. They’ve attracted 12% of all bets.Evaluating the race to get out of League Two Elek added: “Those who piled into Coventry last week will not have enjoyed their Easter Monday football, with lowly Yeovil sticking six past them at the Ricoh.” Oddschecker: ‘Unusual circumstances’ fail to hinder Royal Ascot traffic July 23, 2020 Submit StumbleUpon
