Dodgers will promote prospect Caleb Ferguson to make MLB debut in Pittsburgh

first_imgPITTSBURGH — Two of the three pitchers the Dodgers will start in their series at PNC Park this week will be making their first major-league starts.With four starting pitchers on the disabled list (Clayton Kershaw, Rich Hill, Kenta Maeda and Hyun-Jin Ryu), the Dodgers already promoted one of their top pitching prospects, Dennis Santana, and pitched him Friday in Denver.
