The two live tracks included on the compilation will be “Jack Straw” and “Brown-Eyed Women” from the band’s famous Europe ’72 live album. Fans will be able to purchase the album when Record Store Day takes place in independent stores across the country on April 13th this year.Related: St. Louis Cardinals To Host Annual Grateful Dead Night During 2019 Season“Choosing the songs for Sage and Spirit really didn’t take long, but that’s not to say I didn’t put a lot of work into it,” Lemieux said in a statement shared with Tuesday’s announcement. “My directive was, ‘You’re sitting on the porch. It’s a summer day. You’re drinking a Dogfish Head American Beauty and listening to the Dead,’ and immediately I thought, ‘I got it.’”This latest development in the ongoing partnership follows a busy winter which has already seen the two worlds come together to revive the Delaware brewery’s Dead-Inspired “American Beauty” Pale Ale. The brewery followed that up with an “American Beauty”-Themed weekend at their Milton, Delaware headquarters, which featured live music in addition to meet-and-greet hangs with Lemieux earlier this month.Fans can head over to the Record Store Day website to learn more about this year’s music-themed holiday.last_img
